I have been working on getting natty working on a nvidia tegra2 based tablet
(Advent Vega)
Maverick works fine, but after upgrade to natty many things fail with segfaults
or Illegal instruction messages.
It fails more reliably with gtk and qt applications but many other apps
The core of the problem is that the clutter perl bindings separated out the
clutter::gtk2 and clutter::gstreamer stuff.
I have built test packages of the missing bindings in my PPA
(https://launchpad.net/~chris-debenham/+archive/lyricue) and confirmed that
they fix the issue.
To resolve this bug
This problem also appears in Lucid when using the 'maximus' tool to remove
title bars from maximized windows.
The gnome-panel disappears as does gkrellm.
On occasion it also looks to be causing normal maximized windows to not be
exposed when switching desktops.

I have tried the acpi_osi option and it works great.
cpu scaling is working fine at the moment.
So that is a workaround, but I wouldn't consider it a proper fix as it requires
manual editing of the grub menu.lst for anyone who hits this issue.

Re-installing ia32-libs_2.1ubuntu3_amd64.deb will work around this issue as it
removes the dependancy on /usr/lib32/libpcre.so.3
This is because ia32-libs_2.2 made libpcre.so.3 a dependancy for various
gtk/g
I can confirm this issue on my gutsy laptop as well.
I am not running kde at all (am running fvwm, but can confirm on gnome as well)
