I had a working install of lubuntu 13.04, and thought I'd try installing
gnome to see how it ran on my computer.
I couldn't login at startup, so I went into terminal and logged in
there. Did sudo apt-get remove gnome, then autoclean. Then startx
brought me to gnome desktop (i

Couldn't find the config program for gnome-screensaver (a last ditch
effort before uninstalling it) so I just typed it in the terminal, and
my whole system locked up.

After authenticating, Startup Disk Creator gave an error message:

It just happened again. I'll be attaching pictures. I had 2 usb drives
plugged in, if I remember, there was a USB drive plugged in the other
time, too.
Is there a specific place that this output might be accessed? If not,
I'll try and reconstruct what it says through the images.
