Please, this is a Feature Request.
In my notebook there is a HDA-Intel sound device.
Alsa in Gutsy and Feisty fail; I did it works only with Alsa version 1.0.14a,
from CVS (08/15/2007).
Could you update alsa in Gutsy, at least, to this version?

nm-applet 0.6.5).
