Ok got it.
Right now I'm looking at building the CUBE gui components with the system
base=environment (g++) and building only the I/O libraries for each compiler,
in which case I won't need to use the qmake/pgi combination.
But if I find I do need it, I can try testing the pgcc files from 16.04 i

I'm trying to build the CUBE gui using the PGU compiler. This depends on

I was having the same problem, and updating to 16.04.2 was the solution

sudo apt-get -y dist-upgrade
given that I was already running 16.04. The problem had also been

I'm using 16.04 and get this error sometimes when I get a successful VPN via
OpenConnect.
Sometimes I can get a successful VPN without the error-message.
But the error-message does *NOT* happen if the VPN didn't work.

Personally, my bottom panel is full of more important things like the

I don't interact with my trash bin very often, but that makes it all the more

Here's some info that actually makes sense, it says that the wheel-mice
use a 4-byte protocol and the Touchpad uses a 3-byte protocol. This
could explain how the driver could get confused. Anyone comment?

I have a Dell Latitude E6500.
I'd seen this problem with my 3-button IBM USB mouse, but it went away when I

I have another external IBM USB mouse, this one with a wheel, and am still
seeing the problem.
So far I can temporarily stop the problem by un-plugging

Can you add this to the 12.04 upgrades?
