Hi guys - I'm currently testing the Lucid Lynx Beta, and the problem
with the white noise cutting through the login sound in gdm is still
persistent. This appeared first after installing tvtime. I've been using
this TV Card with every release since Breezy Badger and tvtime, always
with the same res

try the standard live disk to see whether the same problem occurs.
Maybe there's a possibility in your BIOS to set your video device explicitely
to the Geforce device, I'd give it a shot.

With the above mentioned solution (via blacklisting module r8180 and the
use of ndiswrapper) the crash could be avoided. In the latest release
candidate of Intrepid Ibex the card is recognised properly, but seems to
suffer from bad performance regarding the signal strength of the
wireless lan (80%
I don't know whether I'm at the right adress with posting this here,
anyways:
The release candidate of Intrepid Ibex starts fine with the Belkin
F5D6001, no freeze so far. The WLAN - Card is recognized properly out of
the box, the only thing to mention is that the connection signal
reported by the
