I also have this problem, with 10.04, except once it goes into sleep, it
never wakes up.. Holding power actually does nothing, and I'm forced to
pull the battery out of my laptop, just to get POST again..
What is upsetting me and really frustrating, is the fact that everyone

This is a bug that NEEDS to be fixed. Sure you can reinstall, but my

I can play back sound easily on this laptop, but recording doesn't
work.. The sound preferences doesn't show any audio levels, even if i
select mic or line in.. I didn't test line in to see if that input
works. Audacity doesn't pick up sound either.
