I agree the page is outdated. I am doing a senior project that is
building a cluster using Ubuntu. I can update the doc with my results
when I am done.

I can confirm this problem on Kubuntu Edgy. Automatic spell check does
not work, nor does manual spell check. It seems the English dictionary

I also have other programs that crash fairly regularly (mainly Konqueror
