Firefox is listed as a dependency, I haven't dug through to find out why
yet. The description confirms firefox gets installed with pytrainer, but
can anyone confirm if it gets removed when removing pytrainer? I would
imagine it doesn't due to many other dependencies, if that's the case

Untested, but looking at the code and the patch file, if you change
vbox_visual_disk to drawingarea_visualdisk, that should work. The only
two objects in this file that use that method are treeview_detail and
drawingarea_visualdisk.

Sorry for my previous post, didnt read the whole wiki page before
posting -- the info on backtracing on the wiki did not work, but someone
in #ubuntu+1 sorted me out, here is the backtrace

I looked into backtracing, but it tells me to run the program under the
control of gdb, but gnome-panel starts automatically, and if i kill it
and restart under gdb the problem wont be there because killing it makes
it work again.
Is there anyway of using gdb on a program that has already hung?

On a clean install of Jaunty Alpha 6, upon login the gnome-panel is
