Hmmm... I really feel stupid...
I did change the script /etc/grub.d/10_linux manualy and I forgot the "fi"
statement.

Not as lucky as Black Silver, I still have this problem on Ubuntu 9.04 and 9.10
on a Asus P5N32-E SLI MotherBoard.
Hopefully the patch describe by "attikon (Ion)" is still working.
