direct internet access (it was through an authenticated proxy - at my old
work - and so initially Ubuntu did not know how to get to the inter

connected directly to the internet, or (in my case) is missing proxy
settings from apt.conf, or has them incorrect (we use a proxy here). On
a later install with apt proxy settings correct, it showed the packages

I like that I can now download a .deb file and it opens directly in the
package installer, however I was installing Kerberos packages on a
vanilla Ubuntu Gutsy install, starting with "krb5-user", which reported
that "libkadm55" was a dependency (fine so far), but "krb5-config"
