I have a similar problem after fresh new instal of 14.04 Lubuntu on HP
nc6120. Chose Lubuntu as it is lighter than Ubuntu for this machine. The
fan behaves as described by Jörg. Similarly psensor does not show fan at

I think i'm experiencing similar problem with Ubuntu 12.04 for the last 10
month. The submission rate is 40-60%. Currently I have Rhythmox 2.96-0ubuntu4.3

Hei, I can confirm I'm experiencing similar issue. I have Lenovo T61,
Atheros ethernet device. Trough wi-fi sending packet loss goes up to
50%/333% and even higher every two minutes for about 10-15 seconds. I

I haven't updated to Karmic yet, and I have resolved the issue with using some
other .so files, not sure whether will be able to reproduce the problem again.
