I did get it to install by doing a sudo aptitude install openssh-server
and also there were some dependencies that had to be installed
libstdc6++. I was running Edgy and got the notification that I could
upgrade to feisty. Process took about 14 hours but this was the only

Yes, I do have a custom theme. I followed Daniel Holbach's suggestion and
the problem is now solved.
