[Bug 216558] Re: Font size differs a lot between size 10 and 11

I don't think this should be assigned to DejaVu, but anyway. I think this is more a matter of the configuration of your X.org, and more specifically the dpi of your screen. Either the dpi was set wrongly before, or either it's set wrongly now. But changing dpi means different font sizes. If the s

Can you give details about how the fix for fontconfig works? Did you add a switch for enabling and disabling preferred (sub)families for example? -- No Dejavu Sans Condensed font in KDE Feisty Fawn (nor Gutsy) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/93155 You received this bug notification because you ar

As mentioned a few times above, not seeing condensed fonts is is a Qt issue, not a DejaVu one. Marking the ttf-dejavu component invalid. ** Changed in: ttf-dejavu (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Invalid -- No Dejavu Sans Condensed font in KDE Feisty Fawn (nor Gutsy) https://bugs.launchpad.net

You can just disable the ligatures in the fonts if you want, it's not hard. We disabled them in DejaVu for a long time because of this bug. But since there was no move towards fixing it we just enabled them again because we cannot cripple our fonts just because of one buggy program. If packagers wa

This is not a DejaVu problem. All fonts with Condensed style variants will have this behaviour in KDE (and some more programs). For full details I can direct you to http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-566403.html where I explained it completely. There were a few small problems with DejaVu that we
