sudo apt-get update
then
sudo apt-get upgrade
the upgrade steep gave option to follow
sudo apt-get --fix-broken install
after I did I made reboo
sorry second step was
sudo apt autoremove

I made
sudo apt --fix-broken install
then
sudo apt --fix-broken install
then
sudo apt-get upgrade
the error message disappeared before the upgrade complete , then i went to
Ubuntu software centre and removed the old version of program and all done.

cause freeze even after adding the old fix gksudo gedit /etc/default/grub
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash intel_idle.max_cstate=1"
the old fix was working perfect with ubuntu 14.4 pack
