btw, it happens sporadically, took me a bit to realize it's the wireless
card. when i take out the card, the system usually recovers. then i can
plug it back and continue to use it for some time, unti l the next hang.

here is some more (weird) info for the case it gives someone a hint. i know it
may sound like a hoax, but it's real.
when my laptop hangs upon resume from suspend, it seems to do something but
nothing is disp

back to the /etc/resolv.conf file.
