I'm affected by what seems to be the same bug or a very similar one.
Also Ubuntu 19.10 fresh install.

I am also experiencing this bug. It should be noted that it does not
happen in Fedora 29 (it is mentioned here by a F29 user :
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/issues/1572 and I have also checked
it myself) so it seems to be Ubuntu specific.

The cursor is tiny on my hidpi screen when using the snap version of
inkscape. This is on Fedora 29/Wayland. It's the first snap I ever
installed so i don't know whether it is reproducible with other snap
apps.
