Christopher, I have tested also the 3.19.1-vivid and 3.19-vivid mainline
kernels - no hangs. But as soon as I am booting the Ubuntu specific
3.19.0-24-generic - the hang occured right on the first boot.

switch to russian language in Qt Creator 3.0.1-0ubuntu4 on Trusty.
I could see the QT_IM_MODULE in the file /etc/X11/Xsession.d/70im-
config_launch, but I guess it also should be used in /usr/share/im-
config/data/79_xim.rc

then starting it, I could type only in russian.
The curious thing is the behaviour is not the same with romanian
language - romanian characters are not typed at all, in any case...

Yes, HPLIP 2.7.10 is working well on Gutsy i386 with HP LJ 1018. Would
be great to have it backported to Gutsy.
