with / mounted from LVM over dm-crypt (over mdadm), the boot fails just
after asking the encrypted partition passphrase with the following

Ubuntu wine package is based on upstream winehq package, not on Debian,
and the both packages are totally different. Moreover, the latest
(almost, version .40 should be uploaded tonight) version is in Ubuntu,
which is not the case in Debian ;)
