Had the same problem but it seems to be fixed after installing
'indicator-applet' and 'indicator-application' packages. I think they were
removed during upgrade for some reason.
I'm not sure both of them are required and believe 'indicator-applet' could fix
this alone, but I'm just happy network

Looks like is in preinst script.
It backups /etc/ati folder with user settings and then tries to delete the
original dir with "rm -f /etc/ati 2>/dev/null" but this fail because it is a
dir. The solution is to add recursive flag, after repacking with modified
preinst dpkg succesfully installed th
