is no "synctex" folder been created in usr/lib/gedit/plugins/ Obviously
the plugin does not appear among the available plugins in gedit

Strange thing, the bug has come back, but only on my 32 bits install;
works fine in the 64 bits (both upgraded from 12.04)
Alternative-menu extension is deactivated, so it's not the culprit.
The error in ~/.xsession-errors is
JS ERROR: !!! Exception was: Gio.IOErrorEnum: Cannot
Indeed suspend works when closing the lid. Also, it seems that it is
indeed a bug in the alternative-status extension as uninstalling it
solves the bug.

As a workaround for Chromium, I edited
/etc/apparmor.d/abstractions/ubuntu-browsers by commenting the line
/usr/bin/chromium-browser Cx -> sanitized_helper,
and adding the line

I then ran

In precise beta 2, Totem fails to plays mp4 files downloaded from youtube via

Totem does not crash, but displays a black screen.
As a result, totem-video-thumbnailer fails to create a proper snapshot to be

I'll add that the mp4 files that totem seems unable to read are files
downloaded from youtube using Minitube.
Steps to reproduce:
- open minitube
- search for a video
- download it
- open the downloaded file with totem / run totem-video-thumbnailer on the file
- check that the file is readable wit
In precise beta 2 with all updates as of today, totem fails to read some mp4
videos (although not all). It does not crash but shows a black screen.

avatars/pictures in the login screen. For example, my 2 and a half years
old daughter has an (openbox) session on my 11.10 laptop. She manages to
navigate her session very well once logged, but is not able to login by
herself since

example with a snippet shipped with the Snippets plugin.
1. In Gedit 3.2.0, enable the Snippets plugin
2. Create a .C file
3. type "ginterface" and hit Tab
This should trigger the "GObject interface" snip
Ok, so according to the developer, the version of rgedit-r-plugin in the
Oneiric repos is the Gtk2 version, and thus will not work in Oneiric.
The developer has made a working version (rgedit v0.7.1.1-Gtk3) available from
his website http://rgedit.sourceforge.net/ .
