Booting into GRUB, entering the command line and typing "exit" seems to
have worked for me. Of course, this was after I installed Kernel 4.14.9.
Thank you all for the help!

I don't have tracker running. I've also tried the same version (2.26)

This bug still exists in Intrepid Ibex 8.10. I have a LTSP server
running 8.10 and I am using HP T5125 thin clients with VIA chipset
integrated graphics. Adding vt8623fb to the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-
framebuffer file in the ltsp chroot and updating the image allowed the
thin clients to work.
This bug is very frustrating because we're still hanging onto our 7.10
installation that does not have this bug. It would be great to update
to a LTS release, especially since we only have 6 more months of
security support. Since Evolution is used by all of our clients, we

I was only explaining my experiences and, now with knowledge of the bug
you mentioned above, maybe it explains why the Debian Evolution runs

Here's what I've observed from some crazy experiments. I've noticed
that Evolution 2.22, regardless when using it on a normal Ubuntu install
