whoops. yes here are the logs. I though I included them in the original
report!

Interesting. Today after an update the bug is no longer present. It was
present all of yesterday after many reboots with every usb drive I
introduced to the system.
A little more info about the original bug:
- right clicking on the auto-mounted drive in the nautilus side-bar would
present the usu

right clicking on removable media in nautilus, the format option does
nothing. All other right click options work as expected. Formatting the
drive via the disks utility works as expected.
