Yes, Eee users (as well as a few other newer laptops) need the AR5007
driver, but so far, the madwifi devs have been helpless to integrate
the driver into the mainline madwifi driver. IMHO, we should be able
to put the 5007 driver in a seperate package and use
restricted-manager to pick the proper

For some reason, HAL will not report correct battery life on my laptop.
It will report 100% until acpi reports ~76%, at which point HAL reports
a total of 0% battery left. The output of hal-device | grep battery
