I also had the same issue installing Ubuntu 14.10 mini.iso (07 september
2014). My Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 800 freezes at "Select a
language".

hi Guillermo,
thanks for your support, but in my case i didn't deleted anything, i
just installed ubuntuone on ubuntu 9.04 then i upgraded it to ubuntu
9.10 and now to ubuntu 10.04.

bug proper of Ubuntu, beacuse that unusual behaviour also affects the
Windows version of Texmaker.

I can confirm. Shift left(right) arrow selection gets only the last
character. Used both 1.8 from repo and the latest 1.9.1 version.
