I encountered this same problem. Changing ownership of
.config/autostart did fix the problem, but it seems to me that what
needs to happen is that gnome-sessions needs to display an error if it
is unable to write the updated startup configuration, rather than close
as though nothing is wrong. I s
Note that the iso is mounted, not a physical CD. also note that I've
tried it both double-clicking the cdromupgrade and running it from the
terminal using the absolute path. Also, I have tried running as root
(sudo) and when I start the install, I choose not to use the network.

I was loading stream directories in streamtuner, which invokes mozilla
for streams such google audio streams. When I closed mozilla, firefox
then crashed. Using Edgy and FF 2.0.0.1 and stream tuner 0.99.99 and
