I second this. Currently, gwibber 3.1.x is scrolling tile-wise, which is
extremely unintuitive and annoying. This is mostly because a) tiles
don't have equal height and b) the window content jumps by big amounts,
as tiles might be high.

The background picture appears, and at some point i can hear the login
sound, but it doesn't get any further. Login to Unity works, but takes
much longer than it used to.

because of a recent update to Oneiric, but I installed manually. When
booting with those packages, I couldn't move my mouse pointer in LDM (in
fact the system probably hung as changing to a VT didn't work either).

hung again. This time, additionally apport informed me of a kernel bug
which I reported, see #812765.

I am also experiencing this bug on Maverick, now the final release
version. The workaround with setting GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1 does not help.
However, opening the menu with F10 shows the correct menus.

This turns out to be a combination of several issues:
The kernel driver likely does not have a driver for the touchpad which
supports multiple fingers. The touchpad however does support reporting
fingerwidth and can therefore be used with two-finger emulation.

It was reproducible yesterday, it is not today. Maybe an unfinished
update confused software-center. Anyway, closed for now.

Open software center. Search for "gnome-web-photo". The second search
result is something called "gallery uploader". When i click on "more
info" on that item, software center hangs.

As I say in the original bug description, I was not able to reproduce
this crash. It happened when I went back to Evo after it had been
sitting inactive for a while, and I tried to switch to another message.

This was fixed upstream on September 7 by adding a quirk for the
Thinkpad T400s. Is this fix something that could be pulled into the
Maverick kernel as a patch?

On a Thinkpad T400s, I have sound through the built-in speakers working
well, but as soon as I plug in an external speaker set into the
headphone jack plug, sound is muted. This does not happen under Lucid,
and does also not happen under Lucid with a 2.6.34 vanilla kernel.
