It would be great to get this into other versions as it seems like a

Public bug reported:
There are probably a number of people who would want to run xen 4.1.1 on
lucid. At the moment I doubt the existing oneiric packages will work
and a trivial backport is not possible. So here is a debdiff which can
be used to make the xen source package trivial to backport, or
I came across this bug as I was going to report a bug that the -server
and -virtual kernels conflict in lucid. I can see that this conflict is
still necessary as of 2.6.32-33:

Like the debian package the ubuntu version does not build and package
pvgrub. Granted, building pvgrub is a pain in the ass but it still
should be done.

In Ubuntu 11.10 the Linux 3.0 kernel should produce a xen kernel binary
or xen dom0 functionality should be enabled in the server kernel.

It would be nice to see 0.9.2 in Ubuntu 11.10 but at the very least it
should ship with 0.9.0 which is a significant upgrade from 0.8.8.
Debian has backported 0.9.0 to Debian 6 for this reason. 0.9.1 is in
Debian unstable.

my needs, so at the moment no SDL and no pvgrub. Still it's a lot
easier than compiling Xen on every single server. You can find them
