files get corrupted by updating the package list and the only way to fix
it is to perform the work around mentioned above. It would be nice if
synaptic/update-manager performed the corrective action when this or
dpkg --configur
This patch could go upstream easily. While symlinking might be an
appropriate Ubuntu fix, a more cross distro solution is necessary.
Perhaps proper encrypt, decrypt, sign, and verify icons need to be
created and inserted into the gnome-actions set?

It's a warning that annoyingly is displayed in the bottom pane of Gedit
when using the LaTeX plugin. Showing the user errors that don't affect
the operation of the software but they can't do anything about is bad.

I've attached the status file. I worked around the bug by moving this
file to status_bad and copying status-old to status. That got apt and
update-manager working again, but it probably shouldn't have happened in
the first place or been auto fixed by update-manager.

For GNOME 2.24 seahorse has spit out seahorse-plugins from the main
package. Released sources are available. Not having this package would
be considered a rather large regression for seahorse users.

After building epiphany-extensions from svn with xulrunner 1.8 from the
hardy repository (it doesn't appear that the .pc file is provided in the
1.9 version) the persistant error message reported by Joe no longer
appears, but ads are still not blocked.

I'm sorry, but I have no idea about the Ubuntu process. I'm a developer
and simply trying to look out for the GNOME bug squad. The 0.9.x branch
is a development branch and is subject to somewhat frequent updates to
fix bugs.
