Appears fixed in remmina-next paa for yakkety https://launchpad.net/~remmina-ppa-team/+archive/ubuntu/remmina- next This solved the problem for me on Ubuntu 16.10. My remmina worked well from 16.04 and i have always upgraded to the new Ubuntu Release. It even worked well under 16.10 for a month
