I must apologize for answering so lately.

Note:
There where 2 files in the /var/log/Xorg. directory: xorg.0.log and
xorg.0.log.old
xorg.0.log1 is a log file after 2 more failed attempts to play video and then a
system restart with the xorg.con

Whenever i try to play a video (tried VLC and Totem) the X server restarts (the
screen goes black and i'm in front of login window). The same goes when playing
visualization in Totem.
