Public bug reported:
The missing symlink isn't the only install problem for the package - it
also tries to use a non-existent directory.
Workaround:
-
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libhdf5.so.7.0.2 /usr/lib/libhdf5.so.6
sudo mkdir /usr/local/share/octave/packages
sudo apt-get -f install

This is still present in the current 3.4.0-3 (quantal) kernel.
I noticed that I only see the error for one of my USB3.0 drives, not for
my USB2.0 connected drive.

Gtk.ProgressBar.set_data(), which doesn't appear to be a valid method
from what I see in the docs at http://www.pygtk.org/docs/pygtk/class-
gtkprogressbar.html.

Just in case it's unclear, this is with devices connected to the Intel
controller, not the nVidia:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801JI (ICH10 Family) HD Audio
Controller
Subsystem: Intel Corporation Device 0022
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 61
So this was fixed upstream but still hasn't made it into the Ubuntu
packages, or is the current state a regression?
