I run into this problem after upgrade from Ubuntu 14.04 to Ubuntu 16.04
All suggested solutions didn't work well for me. But I found another very
simple one.
I found the obsolete file in my home directory:
/home/current_user/.config/autostart/polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1.desktop
After remov
I was wrong, latest compiz update solved the issue. Sorry for
unnecessary comments.

Compiz crashes on unlock screen if CapsLock is set to
Hello,
I have the very same problem (ubuntu 16.04 LTS, caps lock for switching
between EN/RU, compiz crash after switching on login screen) with compiz
0.9.12.2, so compiz update doesn't solve the bug actually.

I have the Samsung n127 (the system has identified it as the n128), and I found
a workaround:
You must remove the module samsung-laptop in /etc/rc.local:
rmmod samsung-laptop
And restart OS, but brightness/backlight will not work, so you must log out and

I had installed new kubuntu (7.04) release yesterday but when I plug-in
my flash kubuntu doesn't mount it, however when I used beta-version
there were no problems.

I have fiesty kubuntu i385, and after yesterday dist-upgrade the bcm43xx
driver doesn't work. Firstly, I had installed bcm43xx-fwcutter, but, as
I sad, after yesterday upgrade wifi doesn't work neither with nor
without this package.

find wifi menu in Knetworkmanager. How can I redo it? I have no idea

Unfortentely I don't know how to make a look, but I think that I didn't updated
my kernel, because there weren't change in grub. Now I'm using
2.6.20-13-generic and I upgrade every day.
