Just installed fresh version of xubuntu, bug has gone.
But it surely was present in version 11.10

gcalctool completely ignores keyboard input, only Alt+F4 works.
Not numeric keys, not keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl+Q, not even F1 does anything.
