I faced the same error while trying to install Samba4. It seems like
there’s a conflict during the installation process. I solved it by

I have the same problem. I upgraded Ubuntu 22.04 to version 24.04, since
then sometimes after logging in the desktop does not appear, only the X

Almost nine years after this bug was reported and another user telling
us that he did not see the reported issue I can say that when using
Ubuntu 22.04 I do not see the issue that Wise_Melon reported.
As Wise_Melon no longer uses Ubuntu I cannot ask for further information
so closing as 'Invalid'.
Kubuntu now uses the Calamares installer so this bug report is no longer
valid.

Yes, it does. It does not crash right after installation, but when reebooting.
The system is still running after the crash, I can connect via ssh, but the GUI
only shows an error screen.

Update: Different TV, and it works different: removing HDMI immediately
removes additional display, and moves windows from that display to the
main display. However, turning off that TV does not produce same result.

The wireplumber service is experiencing repeated errors related to
handling ALSA audio nodes. The error occurs in the alsa.lua script when
attempting to process node names, suggesting a potential issue with ALSA
device detection or naming.
Steps to reproduce
1. Start the wire
