when my system boots and gdm is started, the following error messages
are added to the logs:

I did a clean install of ubuntu Desktop 24.04.1,
currently containing bluez 5.72-0ubuntu5.
Went through normal pairing procedure with a fairly vanilla Dell mouse MS5120W.
Worked fine.
Suspended computer, resumed a few hours later. Mouse was now unresponsive.
