I plug my AC adapter into my laptop, and it freezes again.
I took a picture of my phone's output before the laptop froze completely.

I am running into the same problem. Running openshot-qt in the terminal
shows following error messages in the terminal:

gpredict-doc package instead of the main gpredict one. This is incorrect
and causes GUIs like Ubuntu App Center to install only the gpredict-doc
package and not the main one.

Same here using NVidia GTX1050 Ti with Kubuntu 24.04.
adding nomodeset fixes the problem as does removing both splash and quiet
instead as a less performance impacting change.
(Didnt try just one of spash and quiet to see which was the real culprit as its
a production machine so try to avoid rebo
