Motherboard only supports 512MB RAM
Ram is at its max.

I'm not an expert on Linux, so please point to what more info you need.
Thing is, recently I bought and built a new PC configuration, after this error
started showing up and my old PC went away (didn't have any probs until this
happened, and suddenly, faulty memory modules
This issue affected me too, and I think I figured out what the issue is.
When the do-release upgrade script gives this prompt,

This is the first bug I've seen describing this issue and the first time
I've heard it mentioned anywhere including support channels and mailing
lists. Similarly, having been involved in the testing of Lubuntu for a

Error
I don't think it is hardware. I can re-boot into Windows XP and it
works fine. The keyboard works in the menus on Lubuntu bootup, but
quits before login.
I tried another fix from another site, but it filled my partition space.
I can't boot at all now. I have to re-install again.
It looks to me

The results (from debug1.sh) were from Rhythmbox.
I meant this:
$ ./debug1.sh
org.mpris.MediaPlayer2.totem says: I AM PLAYING.
Confirmed state is: (<'Playing'>,)
Then the *LAST* song ends.

When asking status of Totem via DBus/MPRIS2, it says "Paused" even the song has
ended. Shouldn't it return "Stopped" state.
I am using a small bash-script to see the DBus-messages.

Unfortunately I removed the archive version of LO and installed the snap
version, which is not exhibiting the problem, because I need to be able
to edit documents; I can therefore no longer replicate the bug. But

This is strange stuff that reeks of a hardware issue of some kind.
Finding the solution without having the same hardware ourselves is going
to be tricky.
First, do you need 32 bit support? I know some of those P4s could handle
64 bit. That would allow you to use newer versions which will inevitabl
