OK, it sounds like the file '/var/crash/_sbin_plymouthd.0.crash' is
corrupt. Please just delete it:

This appears to be a combination of multiple issues:
* Firefox doesn't support hardware video decoding.
* Your CPU doesn't support hardware video decoding.
* Firefox is software-rendered.
So I don't think the high CPU of Xorg or any other related process is

'mpv' is not a video format, it is a video player.
Please run:
sudo apt install mpv
and then use it to play your video(s):
mpv YOURFILE.mp4
Tell us if that works and also send us the terminal text output it
shows.

Please try this instead:
sudo apport-cli /var/crash/_sbin_plymouthd.0.crash
As for the whoopsie-id, I can now see we haven't received any crash
reports on that since December 2018. So your machine seems to have
stopped sending crash reports automatically.
