I think I figured out the cause. Basically PEBCAK..
There's a program called stderred (https://github.com/sickill/stderred)
which colorizes stderr to differentiate it from stdout, via a LD_PRELOAD
hook. I have had this set for years in my ~/.bashrc:

I have the same issue, an automatic upgrade to 4.13.0-30-generic and now
I can't boot. Just kernel panics right away. If I boot with 4.10.0 it

Just checked the pulseaudio_11.1-1ubuntu4_amd64.deb, the dell-dock-tb16
-usb-audio.conf is in it, and will be put to the folder
/usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/profile-sets when installing this

Hello Andreu, or anyone else affected,
Accepted clamav into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be
available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/clamav/0.99.2+dfsg-
0ubuntu0.16.04.3 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package.
The bug is fixed in the upstream 4.15-rc8, still in the mainline.
