As with the `echo 0... echo 1`... method the processor is _always_ in turbo
once it has resumed from sleep.
On my i7-4500U this is about 2.78 and 2.97Ghz.

(64-bit).
Fernando's fix worked for me as well.
Ron, I think the keyboard volume control problem is separate. For the
past month (since I installed Mint on this laptop) I have not had sound,
so I cannot say anything about the vol

1) Update your /etc/fstab with your new SWAP partition (or partitions);
2) /var/lib/dpkg/info/initramfs-tools.preinst i
