crashed so I ran update-manager -s via yakuake terminal session disabled
the binary and source re-enabled the old one clicked on check and it

12.04 by default: I've installed Ubuntu 12.04 for Toshiba AC100 (ARM)
from the "homepage" of this project.
And I have this disaster in my system.
It shouldn't be installed by default, at least, for such weak machines
as the
I checked in my syslog after many complete freeze (CTRL+ALT+Fx not
reacting), and i found this line for the 3rd time:

At the attached patch I included a patch already available at upstream,
that adds a new generic driver for the drm renderer plugin.

Editing /etc/grub.d/10_linux sort of worked for me. Now, the corrupted
image flashes briefly on the screen before displaying the uncorrupted
splash. It's definitely an improvement, but something still isn't quite
right.
Also, don't forget to run update-grub after editing the file.
