Seems I misunderstood this. The screenshot is not for the "normal
Alt+Tab" switcher, but only for the preview mode that you get when you
additionally press Cursor down. This is already quite similar, and
outlining the current selection indeed makes sense. Sorry for the
misunderstanding!
