Experienced same problem. According to the package website, versions
prior to 3.1.9 are broken om 64-bit platforms due to relying on un-
documented behaviour of the libc strcpy(). Package should probably be

Natty has 0.32.2-1, I believe. The package info says it went into Natty
in March. A minor update, 0.32.2-2, was released in May, and I think it
was to fix this issue. The author said it was the same fix that went
into the 3.x branch, which I personally found to work.

Running Ubuntu 11.04 Desktop version. My 7yr old son attempted to get
on the computer and ended up rebooting it. Since then the launcher does
not come on when the computer is started. Only the desktop photo I put
