I have just tried taking the entry for /media/PERSONAL out of my
/etc/fstab (by commenting it out with a '#'), and the erroneous drive
entry has disappeared! It would seem that this is a problem with
whatever software provides entries for the "Places" menu not cross-

Update: I have just upgraded from 9.10 (amd64) to 10.04, and immediately
thereafter, to 10.10. I have reconfigured my drives so that the mirror
is no longer in any kind of array (dm, or otherwise), but so that there
are now 2 separate partitions (one on each drive), labeled "PERSONAL"
and "PERSONA
Same here when I was using 10.04 with compiz on. Later I switched to
Awesome and the nouveau driver, this happens again, but only with
Awesome's own menu.

Binary package hint: laptop-mode-tools
Laptop-mode-tools uninstalls pm-utils, so the options to suspend or hibernate
the laptop disappear.
I constantly get a "failed to suspend" error. If i reinstall pm-utils i can
suspend/hibernate, but it automatically removes laptop-mod
I have exactly the same problem. I am running Maverick and attempting
to run the same build as filed in the bug report.

Why did you change the status to 'Incomplete'? What else do I need to
do? This bug is really very stressful & has greatly reduced the
functionality of Ubuntu & my computer.

Ok, I upgraded to 10.10, which installs openoffice.org-core
1:3.2.1-7ubuntu1, which seems to work fine. So, something is different
in OOo 3.2.1, but 10.04 is a Long Term Support release...

I'm having the same problem. It doesn't happen very often, but if I
restart the track, it plays fine. I'm using Rhythmbox 0.13.1 on Maverick
