I have kernel 2.6.32-24-generic
and tried also installing from the ppa with:
sudo apt-get install linux-alsa-driver-modules-2.6.32-24-generic
However, after system restart it still does not work.
My Latitude 2110 is brand new.
I already put all levels up with alsamixer.

It would also be worth checking BZR_HOME and BZR_LOG.
afaics bzr just uses whichever of those variables are set, so I'm fairly
sure there's something outside of bzr causing this; please reopen if
you're sure it's not.
Maybe there's something different between container 123 and 125?

Proposed fix to re-enable swapfile generation.
Using the same code as before, as we're unable to use a sparse file for
swap (swapon: Skipping file /SWAP.swap - it appears to have holes).
The bad thing is that the first boot now takes more 3 minutes to finish
