This bug is fixed in git's debian/experimental branch with a new policy algorithm that assigns pins to versions. It will most likely not hit Ubuntu 15.10, but I'm hopeful it will be included in 16.04. ** Changed in: apt (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Committed -- You received this bug
