Public bug reported:
After some update, my network is a bit erratic and I found it producing
messages like this in journald every second:
Oct 20 07:57:23 maldita wpa_supplicant[1519]: wlp2s0: CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-
FAILED ret=-16 retry=1
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 17.10
Package: wpasupplic
It'd be better to open a new bug to increase visibility. This one was
dealing with a different / older problem that was already fixed.

It still seems broken:
1. Access a MTP folder in nautilus
2. Delete some files inside that folder from the phone
3. Nautilus keeps showing the deleted files

I tried libnss just now with version 3.21 and it fails consistently. I have
downgraded again to 3.19 to keep work going on...
To me, if it's not libnss itself, then it's some weird interaction with the
last version of it.

Same error here, and the package downgrade fixes it for now.
