Public bug reported: This is related to this bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/1642790 After `sudo apt-get -f install`, it removed cups and marked a bunch of cups packages as unnecessary `sudo apt-get autoremove` removed them. Now when I try to re-install cups, I get this
