libcurl3/libcurl4 transition, the best solution is to get all the

We have made sofar couple of discoveries, thanks to Petr Jediny.
We suspected OpenSSL incompatibility in the OS, so as the PEAP is
creating underlying TLS tunnel for auth and we see an error in
wpa_supplicant regarding TLS negotiation (hello).
tl;dr - Cypher set of Ubuntu bionic do not
At first I was annoyed by this strange choice by Cannonical. I mainly do not
understand why libcurl3 and libcurl4 cannot be installed at the same time as is
usual with libraries of different major version.
Then I got to accept that the problem actually needs to be fixed in the

System was updated from Xenial to Bionic in mid-January. At that time
this WPA2/PLEAP setup worked
I have very similar problem on today\s bionic.
BTW when I use nmcli --ask I found in the UI my password in the field

So that only fix it that the adressbook synchronizes for the first time
(with all entries uploaded), but next synchronization fails with the
same error. Seems to be related to:

Fixed by rm ~/.cache/evolution/addressbook/*/cache.xml, which probably
had wrong timestamp recorded. You can replace * with directory where
your address book cache is actually stored.

I'm trying to create Ad-Hoc WiFi connection from BQ Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition
to Nokia N900, running Qt Mobile Hotspot.
My desktop PC connects ok, but Ubuntu Touch can't connect with message:

I've tried unpotected and WEP prot
I can confirm on Lenovo T420s and 16.04 Xenial 64 - mostly after
resuming from suspend using the lid.

It seems that turning off wlan0 power management can help. I'm
using the following command as a temporary workaround:
sudo iwconfig wlan0 power off
As restoring the kernel/driver does not fix the issue, could the
problem be that NetworkManager incorrectly sets up the interface?
