Thank you for your prompt response. Bug#1347638 (Use of "ThinkVantage button") continues to exist in Ubuntu 14.04 - LTS. Unfortunately I continue to keep open the problem because I always use versions "LTS" type. While, with live CD, I verified that in 'Ubuntu 14:10 & Unity' the bug is solved.
